Nakashima Straight Chair by George Nakashima for Knoll
A modern interpretation of the classic Windsor chair, the Nakashima Straight Chair was originally designed in 1948 and produced by hand with the craftsmanship and attention to detail that are Nakashima’s hallmarks. Using modern technology to ensure fidelity to the original design, Knoll reintroduced the Straight Chair in 2008 in a collaboration with Nakashima’s daughter Mira. Each chair is stamped with his signature.
